My roots began in New Jersey where I went to Arts High School and learned the fundamentals of drawing, sculpting, painting and photography. In college, as a fine art major, I learned classic graphic art techniques like intaglio and press printing among other fine art mediums. Shortly after I transitioned into the commercial aspect of art, graduating with honors. After years in the industry as a designer and art director, I started freelancing. In 2005 I purchased my first digital SLR camera. As I started to harness my skills, I began to create images for my client’s design projects. I had had a secret love for photography that started in high school and never really ended. It didn’t take long for me to realized that photography was truly where my passion was and I decided to pursue it. Since then I have been creating and storytelling through my business, Suspended Image and sharing my passion for photography through mentoring. I believe in living a life with purpose, discovery, and growth. I aim to surround myself with people that inspire me and hope that I can inspire those around me as well.
